In the era of the Revival of the new epoch of a powerful state, with the aim of preserving national publishing products and books as the spiritual wealth of the Turkmen people under modern conditions, fostering a love for books and reading among the population, and further improving the library sector in the country, the President of Turkmenistan has signed a Resolution. The document approves the State Program for the Development of the Library Sector of Turkmenistan for 2025–2029 and the Action Plan for its implementation.
The Resolution is in accordance with the laws of Turkmenistan “On Culture” and “On Libraries and Library Affairs.”
Relevant ministries, sectoral agencies, and the administrations of the regions, as well as the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, have been tasked with ensuring the implementation of the State Program.
